Budgewoi Sailing Club

Budgewoi Sailing Club is a fun, friendly, and easy-going sailing club
on the south shore of Lake Munmorah. Established in 1972
by Stan Vitnell & Ashley

The club has always been a place where young & old can both learn & enjoy
the sport of sailing in a friendly environment open to all.

With races held weekly, across a variety of boat classes,
Budgewoi Sailing Club welcomes sailors of all experiences levels to join in the fun.
Whether an old salt or brand new to sailing, come on down and join in the fun!

Budgewoi Sailing Club is running a comprehensive set of sailing classes,
Assisted by qualified, patient, and friendly assistant instructors,
Mark (our head instructor) will show junior sailors that sailing is a fun,
exciting sport and provide them with the essential skills they need to enjoy
themselves on the water safely.
The classes are run from 10am Sundays and run for an hour to an hour and a half - weather & conditions pending. As junior sailors achieve proficiency in the sport, they'll be able to join the fleet races held afterward, a chance for young sailors to improve their skills, gain an understanding of basic racing principles & tactics, and eventually move into club-level competition.
